Under the title “Mosaik,” students from Duisburg-Marxloh will present choreographies and music pieces to works by Olivier Messiaen, Erwin Schulhoff, and others this year. The contributions were developed under the guidance of Sonja Birnschein, Petra Jebavy, Cinthia Nisiyama, Erika Pico, and Jutta Sabel. “Mosaik” refers to the diversity of the concert program and symbolizes the collaboration and interaction of the students with each other.

On this evening, the children and young people will share the stage with pianist Lorenzo Soulès, who has long been associated with the festival’s Education work. This promises an exciting concert experience for the audience in the impressive setting of the industrial monument Gebläsehalle in Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.
