During the Night of Industrial Culture, the Ruhr region celebrates the former cathedrals of labour: collieries and coking plants, slag heaps and blast furnaces, machines and blast halls become the setting for versatile artistic productions and the stage for the stars of tomorrow. At the moment it is not yet clear whether the Night of Industrial Culture can take place again this year. If so, the Ruhr Piano Festival will of course be there again – for the first time in the salt warehouse of the former Zollverein coking plant and again in the LWL Industrial Museum Henrichshütte in Hattingen.
