Worldwide concert tours have taken Nenad Lečić to prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, the Kölner Philharmonie, and the Stefaniensaal in Graz, as well as on extensive tours in South Korea and Japan.
He is a regular guest at renowned festivals, including the Salzburg Festival, the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Aldeburgh Festival, the Styriarte Festival in Styria, the Kings Place Festival in London, the Cello Biennale Amsterdam, the Whitsun Concerts at Schloss Hagerhof, the Ohrid Summer Festival, and the Obertöne Chamber Music Days.
As a soloist, he has performed with various orchestras, including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, The Philharmonia Orchestra, the Bamberg Symphony, the Belgrade Symphony Orchestra, and the Belgrade Philharmonic, under the baton of conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Jonathan Nott, Dennis Russell Davies, Peter Eötvös, Mauricio Kagel, and Zsolt Nagy.
He finds special artistic enrichment as a chamber music partner of musicians such as Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Tamara Stefanovich, Xenia Jankovic, Katharina Deserno, Hajdi Elzeser, Guido Schiefen, Ralph Manno, Erik Schumann, Mariya Nesterovska, Hubert Mittermayer Nesterovskiy, and Jens Peter Maintz.
He is also a dedicated interpreter of contemporary music, as evidenced by numerous world premieres, including the German premiere of *Im Lichte* by Johannes Maria Staud with the Bamberg Symphony and the first recording of the études by Konrad Lang. Additionally, he engages with historical keyboard instruments. Recently, he recorded Ludwig van Beethoven’s complete works for piano and cello with Xenia Jankovic on the fortepiano.
Numerous recordings and live broadcasts of his performances have been aired by ORF, BBC, WDR, and Radio Classique.
Nenad Lečić began his studies as a young student in Belgrade with Igor Lazko and later continued at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with Arbo Valdma and Pierre-Laurent Aimard. He received significant artistic inspiration through masterclasses with András Schiff, Vladimir Krainew, Alexander Lonquich, Peter Eötvös, and the Alban Berg Quartet, among others.
