Arcadi Volodos auf dem Klavierfestival Ruhr 2020

Yaara Tal and Malte Arkona invite families with children aged 5 to 10 to an interactive experience. Together, they take their audience on a journey of discovery through the fascinating stories behind the music, showing how it can inspire creativity and deeply move us.

Yaara Tal is best known as part of the piano duo “Tal & Groethuysen,” performing on stages around the world. The duo is considered the “dream team of the four-hand league” and has been showered with superlatives and awards worldwide. In recent years, however, Yaara Tal has also pursued solo projects that bring together unusual repertoire within a creatively curated framework.

A unique opportunity awaits at the Klavier-Festival Ruhr’s family concert at the Kunstmuseum Bochum. Yaara Tal will perform some of the most beautiful works in classical music history composed especially for children. To bring this program to life, she has once again teamed up with an exceptional partner: Malte Arkona. The TV host and three-time ECHO Klassik award winner (known from Tigerenten Club and Die beste Klasse Deutschlands) is passionate about classical music. The Süddeutsche Zeitung describes him as “cheeky, charismatic, and a classical music enthusiast,” and he is one of the most sought-after music educators in the German-speaking world.

Together, Yaara Tal and Malte Arkona invite families with children aged 5 to 10 to an interactive experience that will captivate young and old alike.

They take their audience on a journey of discovery through the fascinating stories behind the music, showing how it sparks creativity and touches us deeply.
