Donor Circle of the Ruhr Piano Festival
Since its founding, the Ruhr Piano Festival, which is entirely privately funded, has been supported by many dedicated individuals. The donors gathered in the Donor Circle make it possible to host the world’s largest piano gathering in the Ruhr Metropolis and to present concerts by outstanding pianists. But that’s not all: they also contribute to sustainable and accessible cultural education for children and young people growing up in neighborhoods within the Ruhr area that require increased attention.
As a donor, you become part of the Donor Circle of the Ruhr Piano Festival. This not only grants you benefits such as early access to tickets for sought-after piano stars, but also invitations to exclusive events. In January, you will be the first to learn about the upcoming program, and you will be invited to musical soirées, artist meet-and-greets, and trips to special musical destinations. For your donations, you will automatically and promptly receive a donation receipt from us.

From €2,500 annually: Silver
- All benefits of the previous donor level, plus:
- Closer access at “Musical Soirées”: As part of a small concert, we introduce upcoming projects and artists and offer the opportunity for valuable personal encounters (costs: €50)
- Two tickets to the opening or closing concert, including an exclusive reception
- Automatic renewal of membership, cancellable annually
From €5,000 annually: Gold
- All benefits of the previous donor levels, plus:
- Invitation to participate in an annual group trip with us to select musical destinations in Europe. We visit concerts, meet artists, gain behind-the-scenes insights into the concert world, and enjoy the unique offerings of the travel destination (at cost price).
- Automatic renewal of membership, cancellable annually
From €10,000 (one-time)
A donation of this amount will be assigned to a specific concert, with the donor being specially recognized. On the concert evening, there will be an opportunity to meet the artists at a small reception. In addition, all benefits of the previous categories apply. This donation is also tax-deductible.
