“What fascinates me most about the piano are the boundless possibilities of sonority and harmony it has to offer. It is one of the most perfect and important instruments in the entire music world.” Lika Bibileishvili felt passionate about her favorite instrument very early on: at the age of ten she was accepted as a piano student at Batami University of the Arts in Georgia, her home country. She manages to transmit that same enthusiasm to audiences in concert halls: “My goal is to ensure that every note penetrates into the hearts of the audience.” The young artist is regarded as a gifted poet of sound, capable of imbuing works with a brilliant variety of colors as well as melodic elegance. This year she performs her début at the Ruhr Piano Festival.
